Compassion for Children in Kenya

Once again Compassion, one of the largest faith-based child sponsorship programs in the world, has a group of bloggers traveling to visit children in the developing world. I could spend days writing about child sponsorship, but I could never make you see it the way those on the ground will. So today I'll simply point you to those eye witnesses and let them tell the story.

While many of the children the bloggers visit are already sponsored, they will also highlight the stories of those who need sponsors. You can follow this year's trip to Kenya here. I firmly believe--and research backs me up--that sponsored children become so much less vulnerable to the dangers that children in extreme poverty face including disease, unclean water, hunger, and trafficking. Read some of the stories from this year's trip, and, if you don't already sponsor a child, perhaps you can prayerfully consider doing so.
